The goal for each team is to surpass every challenge as a group, encouraging them to work together. Check out these recommended Survivor party challenges and activities. Play the Corporate Survivor in the nearly-isolated Puka Beach, where your Alta Vista de Boracay hotel is located.

2. Human Knots

For an effective team building event, you should set specific goals such as to boost teamwork or test people’s planning skills. Human Knots is a must on your list. This is similar to the Filipino child’s game of Dr. Quack Quack. Each team will form a circle and a complicated web of knots with their hands. The challenge is to untangle the knots until they form an open circle without breaking contact. The first team that untangles first wins.

3. Boat Race

Get everyone's heart pumping with a boat race. Choose a less crowded beach where you can freely conduct water activities. The team that reaches the finish line first wins. Don't forget to have everyone wear safety gear!

4. Beach Volleyball

What is a team-building event without the all-time favorite beach volleyball? To make it more competitive, the losing team will perform a “dare” given by the winning team. Ask all participants to apply sunscreen and wear comfortable beach clothes.

5. Beach Paintball

Paintball is a highly physical game and a truly fun activity. Imagine getting the chance to shoot your boss, at least with harmless paint. Instead of just shooting at the opposing team, you can give each group a mission such as to capture the leader “unharmed” or to extract an item from their rivals.

6. Lego Man

Is the weather extreme outside? No worries. You can enjoy team building activities in one of Alta Vista de Boracay’s facilities like function halls. Play the Lego Man! Each team will nominate a representative who will inspect a lego sculpture in a separate room. Then, the reps will join their teams and give details on how to duplicate the structure using Lego or other building blocks. The first team that recreates the closest wins. This is a tried and tested leadership activity that allows collaboration and effective communication within your team.

7. Treasure Hunt

Let your employees harness their teamwork skills with a Treasure Hunting game. Choose a private area, such as a less popular beach, where you can hide certain items. Give each team a list of the items to search for. The first group that gathers the most wins.

8. Fat Suit Wrestling

Have a fun Sumo wrestling-style match in your next team building. Each team member will be wearing a fat suit and spar with a rival. The participant who first hits the ground will be eliminated. The team with the last person standing will be declared the winner. This activity is best played outdoors with lots of areas to roll around.

9. Cocktail Master

It's no secret that many anticipate the drinking part of a team-building event. But you can make this more enjoyable, and perhaps engage even non-drinkers, with a game. In Cocktail Master, each team will be given access to the liquor bar and let them mix cocktails. The cocktails should be a creation of their own—possibly their own version of known mixes. A hired bartender shall judge the winner.

10. Karaoke Competition

Karaokes are a staple in Pinoy team building events. Host a singing competition in Alta Vista de Boracay’s Karaoke Room. For your event, elect 4 judges, preferably friendly strangers, who will choose the best singer via elimination. In the first round, the qualifiers will sing a song of their choice, then the judges will pick a song for each finalist. For the grand finale, let the audience vote on the champion.

11. Beach Frisbee

Get your employees active with a beach frisbee competition. Each team will have 3-5 players who will throw the frisbee to another teammate. The opposing team will try and block the disc. A point is counted for every successful catch. The team that scores 13 first wins. Once the disc is blocked or touches the ground, the teams will switch from defense to offense.

12. Water Balloon Dodgeball

Do you have an athletic bunch? You can play the water balloon dodgeball. You only need pre-filled water balloons and two large buckets. This is played like American football but with a bucket at each end. A point is scored once a team player carrying a water balloon crosses the opposition's goal line or catches the balloon at the end zone. The first to score six points wins.

13. Perfect Square

How can you deepen the trust among your employees during a team-building? Perfect Square might just be the activity! You just need a rope, about 5 meters, tied at the ends, and blindfolds. The goal is to have each team form a perfect circle while blindfolded. Every team player will stand in a circle holding the rope. After forming a circle, they can lay the rope on the floor. They will then put on their blindfold, take 5 steps backward, and work together to form a square. The first to create a square wins.

14. Cooking Face-Off

Everybody must have seen cooking competitions on reality TV. Bring it to your next team building event. Similar to Iron Chef, have a main ingredient that each team will use to prepare an appetizer, main course, and dessert. Why not showcase the best seafood of Boracay? The winner will be chosen by a panel of 4 judges.

15. Lip Sync Contest

Here's a fun idea for an evening beach activity—a lipsync competition. Have the contestants pick a song and costume, if they choose. You can expand this into a team competition with members deciding who will be the singers, guitarist, and dancers. The winner will be chosen as viva voce.

16. Sinking Ship

The Sinking Ship is a popular game in children's parties. But this strategic activity is perfect for team building events. You just need manila papers and ropes. Let each team stand on a manila paper and gradually shrink the space. The team that keeps the most number of members as the space shrinks win.

17. Spaghetti Marshmallow Tower

This activity can help improve collaboration among your employees. Each team will be given 20 sticks of uncooked spaghetti, 1 roll of masking tape, 1 yard of string, and 1 marshmallow. The team that builds the tallest tower that stands for five seconds using these items wins. As an additional challenge: the marshmallow must be at the top of the tower.

18. Back-To-Back Drawing

Let your employees find a partner for this activity. Each duo will sit back to back. One will have a picture of a simple image such as a shape and the other a piece of paper and pen. The one holding the image will describe to the other how to draw the image without giving clues on the shape or image. The duo that draws the most accurate replica wins.

19. Team Artwork

Why not bring a memento of your company team building back to the office? Have a mural competition. Each team will be given canvases, paints and brushes, and other art materials. The goal is to create a masterpiece mural that you will display in your office.

20. The Real Scavenger Hunt

You can boost your employee's collaboration skills and keep Boracay pristine at the same time by joining the #BoracayChallenge. Organize a real scavenger hunt with each team gathering trash on the seashore. The team that fills the most trash bags win.

Don't take team buildings lightly. This can be an effective way of boosting productivity in your company by helping employees decompress and work together better. Improve teamwork in your next team-building outings. As Henry Ford once said, "Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is a success."
